The duration of neuromodulators varies from 4 to 6 months depending on the patient. However, the more you maintain it, the longer it will last.
HOW IT WORKS
Botox treatment consists of injections made directly into the muscles to temporarily paralyze them. Botox does not damage the muscle itself: it acts on the nerves that control it. Botox blocks the passage of nerve impulses that normally cause muscles to contract. Wrinkles form when we contract facial muscles to smile or squint, for example. It is the repeated use of these muscles that can, among other things, lead to the formation of wrinkles. Botox, which is injected directly under the skin, reduces them, making the skin appear smoother.
